Demo: drawing basic 3D forms, interface, frame by frame tools and timeline in animation software
Exercise: drawing objects from multiple angles using the constructive method, squashing, stretching and twisting objects.
Lesson 3: Timing & spacing and arcs
Presentation: timing, spacing and arcs in animation
Demo: linear, smooth and snappy animation, animating in 3D space
Exercise: animating a floating dot with different timing, spacing and paths
Lesson 4 Squash & stretch
Presentation: using squash and stretch in frame by frame animation
Demo: planning and executing a bouncing ball animation
Exercise: animating multiple bouncing balls of different materials
Lesson 5 Follow through & overlapping action
Presentation: using follow through in traditional animation
Demo: breaking down the movement of a flexible object through multiple joints

Instructors

Nareman Nashaat
A 2D artist with 4 years of experience, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University. Worked on animated advertisements for Zanad TV and Gemini Studios, focusing on character design, concept art, and animation. Also works as an instructor at AUC-SCE.

Kareem moheeb
Karim Moheeb, 2D animator and animation instructor. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2016, currently working there as a TA, taught animation courses at MSA and AUC. Worked on animated ads and series including one for Cartoon network, as well as 2D games.
